The second TGL season is motoring along with two teams looking for their first victories of the year on Tuesday.
Jupiter Links, which fell to New York Golf Club in their first match of the year, returns for its second bout in as many weeks. It will face off against Los Angeles Golf Club (which is aiming to bounce back from a loss to Boston Common Golf earlier this month) in a rematch of the most lopsided match of the first season of TGL.
Tiger Woods will once again not tee it up, instead playing a formal role in the match for Jupiter — look for him as part of the broadcast for the second week in a row.
Here’s everything else you need to know:
The match
Jupiter Links GC: Max Homa, Akshay Bhatia, Kevin Kisner (sitting: Tom Kim, Tiger Woods)
Los Angeles Golf Club: Justin Rose, Collin Morikawa, Sahith Theegala (sitting: Tommy Fleetwood)
Notes
• LAGC is hoping to get back in the win column after a back-and-forth loss to Boston Common Golf in its first match of the season – it ended up losing 7-5 despite putting up a strong fight.
• A tilt against Jupiter may be just what LA needs. In the first season, LAGC set marks for points scored in a match (12) and largest margin of victory (11) in a 12-1 win.
• Look for putting to be the difference. While Jupiter and LAGC are first and second, respectively, in greens in regulation, Jupiter and LAGC are fifth and last, respectively, in short putts.
• LAGC will have to manage its hammer strategy better for its second match. It threw three hammers in the first match but secured zero points.
• Jupiter is first in TGL in driving accuracy, scrambling and greens in regulation — but it will need some putts to fall this week.
• Both Jupiter and LAGC will have their same lineups from their first matches. It’s a quick turnaround for Jupiter after it lost 8-3 to NYGC last week.
• Bhatia will be playing as an alternate while Woods, who remains sidelined due to injury, will once again attend in a non-playing role (he will be mic’d up and integrated into the broadcast).

Broadcast details
Match begins: 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
All matches will be broadcast exclusively in Canada on Sportsnet and Sportsnet+.
All matches will be played at SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., with the capacity for 1,500 fans in seating that’s wrapped around the playing area – creating a ‘greenside’ experience.
How it works
• Triples – nine holes – three players per team competing in an alternate-shot format.
• Singles – six holes – one-on-one, head-to-head competition for the entire hole. Each player from each team plays a total of two full holes during the session.
• Overtime – if the match is tied after 15 holes, the teams will play a best-of-three, closest-to-the-pin competition to decide the winner, with the hole location and orientation of the green remaining unchanged from the final/15th hole of the match.
• The shot distance in OT will be between 25-50 yards and decided pre-match by the match official. All players will play from the same spot. The ball must finish on the putting surface to be eligible.
Standings
For each match, teams can be awarded up to two points towards their regular-season total based on the following:
• Win in regulation = 2 points
• Win in overtime = 2 points
• Loss in overtime = 1 point
• Loss in regulation = 0 points
